Visual Basic Programs Motorcycles
I am a Visual Basic Programmer. I have been a programmer a short time, see below in the "About Me" section. I have created a few small apps and in the future I plan on posting them for download. So look for these and some useful tools to be posted here in the near future.

My love for motorcycles and riding has been a lifetime passion of mine. Ever since I can remember I have wanted a Harley Davidson motorcycle! I have been riding for a little over 10 years now. I've not been able to afford a HD yet but plan on buying one soon after I start my new career as a computer programmer! I currently ride a 1969 Triumph Tiger 650. I have put thousands of miles on this old hard tail, including a trip to PA and back a couple of yrs ago.

About Me.... (If you care! :)> )
Before you get started let me get the facts out of the way. I just finished school where I was a programming student down here in the sunshine state of Florida and enjoyed the hell out of it. I studied Business Software Applications, RPG Programming, and Visual Basic Programming at PTEC of Pinellas. The HTML I have taught myself at home by using manuals dowloaded off of the Internet, one of them, NCSA's Beginner's Guide to HTML, is a great starter.

I've just recently gotten into the computer world, due to injuries inflicted in a motorcycle accident back in 1995 by a careless driver who failed to look first (go figure!). I'm happy to say that my '69' Triumph Tiger and I are back "in the wind" once again. A little worse for the wear, but I just strap the cane on the scoot and off I go. Riding is in my blood. So for all you people that ask, "why would you continue to ride after all that?", well its like they say, "IF I HAVE TO EXPLAIN YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND!!!"

I am one person who thought I would never need to operate
a damn computer, let alone go back to
school, but I guess stranger things have and will happen. Much to my amazement, I really enjoy it. It's amazing what these things can do.

I am currently waiting to have another surgery on my ankle, this will be my 6th operation. This time they are going to fuse my ankle at a 90 degree angle. This is supposed to get rid of some of my pain (which I am in 24-7) and enable me to walk without the cane that I have to use now. Hopefully it will also enable me to not have to wear the brace (AFO) which I also now have to wear. Once this is done I will be ready to start my new career as a programmer! I am looking forward to it as I really enjoy doing Visual Basic Programming. Nothing like starting with nothing and designing a program for others to enjoy!
